Location: Bolton College, Deane Road Campus
Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday
Term: Temp to June 28th
Pay rate: £17.09 to £25.65 depending on qualifications & experience

Position Overview:
We have a fantastic opportunity to join Bolton College as an English Lecturer. If you’re passionate about teaching English and want to inspire learners to gain confidence and achieve, this could be the role for you. You’ll join a team of educators who are recognised for putting the learners needs ahead of all else to deliver a great experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- To deliver engaging English lectures across GCSE, Functional Skills and Community Learning curriculums to learners aged 16 and above.
- To plan and structure sessions to cover course material in depth and provide learners with an excellent experience.
- To assess student development and progression through effective strategies.
- To actively engage in maintaining high quality standards.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Experience of tutoring English at GCSE and vocational levels.
- An English degree or similar equivalent
- Teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
