About the Role
Peterborough College is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Travel and Tourism Lecturer to join our team on a part-time basis. With the opportunity to teach Level 1 to Level 3 students, this is a fantastic role for someone passionate about the travel and tourism industry and who enjoys inspiring the next generation of professionals.
In this position, you will deliver engaging lessons, fostering a deep understanding of the industry while providing students with the skills and knowledge they need to excel in their careers. If you have expertise in Travel and Tourism, a passion for teaching, and a desire to make a positive impact, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality lessons to students studying Travel and Tourism at Levels 1-3.
- Prepare and plan lessons, ensuring the curriculum is covered effectively.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Support students in achieving their qualifications and developing industry-relevant skills.
- Foster an inclusive and positive learning environment that encourages student engagement.
About You
- Passionate about Travel and Tourism, with a solid understanding of the industry.
- Teaching qualification not essential, but a willingness to work towards one is required.
- Experience teaching or working within the Travel and Tourism sector is desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage students and colleagues.
- Motivated to deliver excellent standards of teaching and student support.

- Pay: £21.57 - £23.54 per hour + holiday pay
