Uniformed Public Services Lecturer

South Yorkshire College. 

Temporary until Christmas, potentially longer. 

Tuesday AM – Unit 15 Police Powers, Wednesday PM – Unit 2 Behaviours and Discipline in the UPS and Friday AM – Government and the UPS

£25-£28 including holiday pay. 

The person;
We are therefore seeking individuals who are passionate about Sport / Public Services that have relevant experience in both educational and industry fields. The individual will also have experience working with students or apprentices either in a college or an educational setting whilst being upbeat, motivational and knowledgeable in the subject area to educate and inspire learners.

They don’t necessarily need to have a UPS background (Fire, Police, Armed Forces, Prisons etc.) but must have a good understanding around sociology/psychology and an ability to pick the course material up at pace would be ideal.
