Role: User Experience Researcher
Salary: Up to £50,000
Location: Swansea - Hybrid Model (2 days p/w)
As a Researcher and Service Designer, you will be supporting the Strategic Design Director and Delivery Lead in all aspects of service transformation. You will have the opportunity to apply a creative, innovative mix of design methods to uncover insights and find opportunities for outcomes that lead to tangible change.
You will play a key role in delivering user-centred design solutions for our clients. You will be responsible for the entire design process, from user research and service mapping to co-creation and prototyping.
Experience Required
- Proven experience working within a Government Design System and a strong understanding of DDAT
- Experience conducting user research, including generative research methods.
- Experience with co-production, co-design and collaborative design techniques.
- Proven ability to map services and user journeys.

Responsibilities
- Conduct user research activities to understand user needs and pain points.
- Facilitate workshops and co-creation sessions with stakeholders and users.
- Develop service blueprints and user journey maps.
- Translate research findings into actionable insights and design recommendations.
- Design and prototype potential solutions following the government design system principles.
- Collaborate effectively with clients and internal teams.
- Present design proposals and recommendations in a clear and concise manner.
