VH Lecturer - Production - CMS and Pinewood Studios

Do you have experience in the Film Industry? We are looking for a Production Management Lead based at both the CMSI (Creative Media Skills Institute) at Pinewood Studios & Amersham Campus. We are looking for an experienced, industry professional seeking to support and teach the new generation of creative industry professionals in Production Management. Ideally you will have industry experience.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Monitoring of course content by CMSI tutors at Pinewood, and teaching in person where needed at different locations CMSI/Pinewood Studios & Amersham Campus
• Planning and developing course content, including assessing students work against set criteria and providing academic feedback
• Good organisational and communication skills, including liaising with colleagues and industry professionals.
• Contributing to the College's pursuit of excellence by delivering high quality teaching and support to students

Taking Teaching Further

The College actively engages with the Education & Training Foundation's Taking Teaching Further scheme to recruit industry professionals to teach within Further Education.

As industry professionals offer our students industry experience and insight we support our unqualified teachers to learn 'on the job'. You will be given full support throughout your development to fully qualified teacher status. Whilst in employment you would be enrolled onto the Level 3 Award in Education and Training. After completion you can choose to move be onto our Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training qualification. This is a great way for experienced professionals to achieve a recognised teaching qualification whilst in employment.
