Wiltshire College & University Centre have an exciting opportunity for a VHL Lecturer in Counselling join our team.

Location: Trowbridge, Wiltshire

Salary: £16.59 - £24.00 per hour plus holiday pay (dependant on skills, qualifications and experience) 

Job Type: Variable Hours

The Role:

Join a dynamic team at Wiltshire College & University Centre as a Variable Hours Lecturer in Counselling. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with a passion for counselling education and a commitment to delivering high-quality teaching.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering engaging lectures and seminars in Counselling, tailored to meet the diverse needs of our students.
  • Providing academic support and guidance to students, fostering a supportive learning environment.
  • Developing and updating curriculum materials to ensure relevance and alignment with industry standards.
  • Contributing to the assessment and evaluation of student performance.
  • Actively participating in departmental meetings and collaborative initiatives.

About You:

  • A recognised teaching qualification is desirable but not essential.
  • Professional experience in counselling practice or a related field.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of counselling theories, methodologies, and ethical practices.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Flexibility to work variable hours according to student and departmental needs.
