Windsor Forest Colleges | Animal Management Lecturer
Windsor Forest Colleges group is looking for an Animal Management Lecturer to join our Animal Science Department at Berkshire College of Agriculture (BCA)team on a Permanent Contract Part-Time (0.86 FTE).
Animal Management Lecturer
This Animal Management Lecturer role is part-time working 32 hours per week, reporting directly to the Head of Department. The primary purpose of the role is to provide exceptional teaching and assessment experiences to students, thereby enabling them to maximize their potential. This includes preparing and delivering educational content, assessing student performance, and fostering an environment conducive to learning.
Key responsibilities for the Animal Management Lecturer include the design and implementation of teaching, learning, and assessment strategies. This involves participating in student interviews, enrolment, and induction, preparing detailed schemes of work and lesson plans, and providing continuous assessment and feedback.
The Animal Management Lecturer is also expected to offer academic support, prepare students for various assessments, and maintain accurate student records. Additionally, the role includes contributing to curriculum development and participating in a range of college-related activities such as parents evenings and marketing events.
