Business and Information Technology School (BiTS)
Business and Information Technology School (BiTS) is a private, state-approved university founded in 2000 with more than 1,000 enrolled students, located in Iserlohn, Germany. BiTS offers its students innovative study concepts with practical relevance in an international network to enable students to develop their entrepreneurial approaches and skills – in short: theory, practice and internationality.
The campus is surrounded by the beautiful landscape of the local recreation area of Lake Seilersee which offers our students the opportunity to relax after a hard day of lectures. Furthermore, the campus also comprises the campus canteen, the student residences with ca. 80 apartments and the club B7 which is exclusively reserved for recreational student activities. The BiTS campus was voted the third most beautiful campus in Germany in August 2009 by the student magazine "Unicum”.
The approximately 30 BiTS classrooms are fully equipped and especially designed for small study groups of 30 to 35 students, which ensures an individual contact to our highly reputable teaching staff. Furthermore, students benefit from the practical work experience in various business fields of the BiTS lecturers. For assignments, research or self-studying, students can use the BiTS library. In addition, a new cafeteria with study spaces has been opened to give students the opportunity to meet in groups outside the lectures.
