Fachhochschule Worms

The ZTT ("Zentrum für Technologietransfer und Telekommunikation") is a research institute at Worms UAS. Most projects are publicly funded by application to the Ministry of Education and Science, the German Research Foundation, the Federal Ministry of Education and Research, the German Academic Exchange Service, the German Federation of Industrial Research Associations and the European Union.

The ZTT was founded with the intent of providing IT research and development transferral services to the economy, especially small and medium enterprises (SME). This goal is implemented through collaborative projects with the SME themselves, and often other industrial partners, the public sector and research institutions. The ZTT takes a non-competitive stance towards its industrial partners and aims to develop solutions of interest and offer services that cannot be provided otherwise to the partners and to the public at large.
