University of Applied Sciences Bingen
The University of Applied Sciences Bingen is a dynamic higher education institution, combining progress, tradition and practical relevance. Some 2,500 students receive intensive training in a personal atmosphere on the Bingen-Büdesheim campus inaugurated in 1987 and in a historical building situated in the town of Bingen.
The University of Applied Sciences Bingen was founded in 1897 as the Rheinisches Technikum (Rhine College of Technology). The excellent infrastructure and attractive landscape of the area, where the river Nahe flows into the Rhine, were decisive for the choice of location. Since then, students have been offered practical and forward-looking technology training, which has always made Bingen an attractive higher education institution.
