Nord University

Nord University is a young university offering a dynamic and modern learning environment for higher education and research in beautiful surroundings in the region of Northern Norway.

Nord University was founded and accredited on January 1, 2016, through a fusion between University of Nordland, Nord-Trøndelag University College and Nesna University College.

Nord University has 12 000 enrolled students and 1200 employees spread across several study locations in Nordland and Trøndelag. The main campuses are located in Bodø and Levanger. The rugged nature of Northern Norway provides a spectacular and inspiring backdrop and limitless opportunities for adventure and recreation for students and staff at all our study locations.

Nord University  offers degrees at both undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels across the fields of Professional Studies, Social Sciences, Business and Management and Natural Sciences. The university’s study programmes are supported by well-qualified staff and state-of-the-art learning facilities. 

The university also engages in various exchange programmes, which provide range of international learning and research opportunities for students and staff.
