Malmö University College
Malmö University, Sweden - International Education and Research
Malmö University was founded in 1998 and is a young, modern and international university. It is located in the city of Malmö, the third largest city in Sweden, in the transnational Öresund region with a total population of 3.5 million people. Located in the centre of the city, the university has played a important role in the transformation of Malmö from an industrial town to a centre of learning.
About a third of our first year students have an international background and our goal is to create a truly international study environment. We see a heterogeneous group of students and staff as a major asset. The activities of Malmö University are centred on the major challenges in our society today and we strive to become a university open to the world around us. Hence, our research is often multidisciplinary and is frequently pursued in collaboration with partners from outside the university.
