About your role
The Netherlands Research Integrity Network (NRIN) is seeking a proactive, highly organised co-coordinator to support the lead coordinator and enhance NRIN's activities. NRIN connects academics, researchers, professionals, and institutions working on research integrity across the Netherlands and internationally. NRIN regularly arranges a range of open and closed meetings to promote collaboration, knowledge sharing, and the exchange of best practices among those interested in encouraging responsible research practices in their academic settings. As co-coordinator, you will play a crucial role in managing the network’s daily activities, supporting events and initiatives, and engaging with the Dutch academic community. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with peers in similar roles internationally by contributing to international networks (e.g., ENRIO, NERQ, etc.).
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and support the NRIN closed meetings (visit the NRIN webpage to see the NRIN closed groups – link).
- Collaborate with the lead coordinator and the NRIN chair in organising the NRIN open events (both online and in person).
- Collaborate with the NRIN’s project assistant in managing communications, including website updates, newsletter and social media.
- Assist in reporting and documentation.
About you- Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., social sciences, humanities).
- Strong organisational and management skills.
- Proficiency in Dutch (native speaker level) and English (C1 level).
- Experience in organising and managing meetings (e.g. taking minutes) on confidential topics.
- Experience in organising online and in-person events (familiarity with NRIN’s activities is a bonus).
- Affinity with topics in research integrity, open science, or Dutch academic culture.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a dynamic environment.
Our offer- One-year contract with the prospect of a permanent contract.
- Classification in salary scale 10: € 3.598 to € 5.669 gross for full-time employment (depending on education and experience). In addition to a good basic salary, we offer 8.3% end-of-year bonus. Calculate your net salary here. As of 1 July 2026, the salary will be increased by 3.5% in accordance with the collective labor agreement (CAO UMC).
- Holiday hours: 194.4 per year based on full-time employment and possibility to save additional hours.
- 100% reimbursement for public transport travel costs. If you travel by foot, bicycle, or car, a mileage allowance of €0.21 per km applies (up to a maximum of 40 km one way by car).
