The Post

We are looking to appoint a speech and language therapy educator in this part-time fixed-term position and welcome applications from experienced speech and language therapists keen to develop their role as educators while enabling continued engagement in clinical practice. The post holder will work with our speech and language therapy lead, wider team, and employers to roll out our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes (including a degree apprenticeship and MSc in 2025). The programmes have been designed collaboratively with key stakeholders; the post holder will work closely with our stakeholders on a continuing basis.

You will have the opportunity to complete a PGCHE and progress through our GOLD framework to achieve HEA senior fellowship, as well as contribute to faculty-wide research and knowledge exchange activities. Opportunities may also exist to undertake doctoral studies through a professional doctorate or PhD programme. The University has an established career framework offering opportunities for promotion through an annual application process.
