Senior Technician (Laboratory)
Grade F (£28,608 - £32,089 p.a. pro rata)
Fixed Term contract for 6 Months
About the Role
An exciting opportunity for an experienced laboratory technician to join our busy multi-disciplined laboratory team. As a member of the Technical Team, demonstrate equipment and techniques and provide support and guidance to students within our laboratories. Create a positive, industry-relevant learning environment to enhance the employability prospects of students. Provide technical support and guidance to academic colleagues in laboratories, workshops and studios. Ensure all staff and students are working within a safe environment and escalate issues where necessary. Identify appropriate personal development opportunities and actively keep up to date with relevant discipline knowledge, trends and technology, and apply this learning to practices. Connect with relevant internal and external networks and use these contacts to enhance delivery. Be a team player and support others in creating a positive environment.
