Senior Mental Health Adviser
Salary- £39,984 - £44,977 per annum

About the Role
Working within the NTU Mental Health Support Team you will:
- Respond proactively to requests for specialist support for students with mental health difficulties at NTU, assessing individual need, including risk of harm and academic risk, crisis response, making recommendations for action and monitoring outcomes.
- Offer support to individual students, providing specialist guidance, appropriate referrals internally and externally and assisting students to secure specialist grant funding (e.g. Disabled Student Allowances).
- Supervise the casework of Mental Health Advisers who provide ongoing regular support to students, ensuring that appropriate professional standards are maintained and that issues requiring escalation are appropriately referred.
