Positions Available:

  1. Animal Care Lecturer (3 days per week)
  2. Animal Care Lecturer (4 days per week)

Hourly Rate: £21.57 - £23.54 per hour (dependent on teaching qualifications/experience)

Start Date: August (ready for the new academic year)

Job Description: They are seeking passionate and dedicated Animal Care Lecturers to join the team. The successful candidates will be responsible for delivering high-quality education and training to animal care students. You will inspire and engage learners, fostering a love for animal care and ensuring students achieve their full potential.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and informative lectures and practical sessions on animal care.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that meet curriculum requirements.
  • Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Support and guide students in their academic and professional development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and improve teaching practices.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in animal care.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant qualifications in Animal Care or a related field.
  • Teaching qualification is not essential, but a willingness to work towards one is required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Experience in the animal care industry is desirable.
