Associate Director – Qual or Mixed Method Researcher

Our client is an award winning & thriving independent insight consultancy who specialise in social research. They have an opportunity for a mixed methods or qualitative researcher who has experience within social research to join them at Associate Director level. This role is a 12 month maternity cover position.

The company was set up with the goal to revitalise the way in which research is used to create a better society. Their aim is to operate at the intersection of engagement, insight, and social action. To do this they understand they need to iterate, innovate and think systemically to identify and implement novel solutions to the intractable issues we face in the UK and globally.

They work in the main with public sector clients across three key areas. health and wellbeing, sustainability & climate change and social inclusion & democratic change. Tackling a variety of policy, communication and service challenges.

The focus of the role is to lead on research design, delivery, analysis and reporting. You will:

  • Manage teams to deliver small and medium-sized projects
  • Act as the day-to-day client lead
  • Have the analytical capabilities to translate data into strategic insights
  • Provide support with new business, including account management and responding to client-issued briefs
  • Think strategically about client issues
