Description
To contribute to achieving excellence in teaching and learning through innovative and excellent practice. You will be expected to create effective and stimulating learning opportunities for all students through high quality teaching, learning and assessment. Monitor each student’s academic performance and provide feedback for improvements, supervise and motivate students to achieve their academic and personal goals.Our cohort is a mixture of 16-18 year olds and adult learners.
Key Responsibilities- To contribute fully to the mission and values statement of the College ensuring its effective implementation in all aspects of College life
- To contribute to the College and curriculum area strategic objectives and to actively engage in the annual review
- To be aware of national developments in subject area and update knowledge and skills on an annual basis
- To plan, prepare and deliver high quality lessons in order to achieve effective management of the learning process
- Plan and use a range of effective and appropriate teaching and learning techniques to engage and motivate students and encourage independence and student autonomy
