If so, you might be interested in working for a leading pharmaceutical company who are adding to their well-established bioinformatics team.
They have a highly collaborative and social atmosphere, with a mix of experience and backgrounds and a great working atmosphere.Your new roleAs a bioinformatician you will be focused on the bioinformatics analysis of data from a wide range of experiments, eg using mouse or human clinical data, and supporting researchers on multiple programmes.
You will manage bioinformatics projects within drug discovery & development, looking at aspects such as target prioritisation and validation. You will also be working closely with biology and computer science / software colleagues to support them on cross-functional projects.
These projects will likely focus on functional genomics and RNAseq analysis, eg using internal pipelines to process single cell and bulk RNAseq or gene expression data for target identification and validation.
One of the key elements within this role is putting results / biological data into context for future work and supporting biology researchers to understand and validate results.This is initially a 12-month contract that may extend...
