Location: Newcastle College
Contract: Full-time, Temporary
Duration: Until the end of the academic year
Salary: £20 per hour
About the Role:
Newcastle College is seeking a passionate and dedicated Biology and Science Lecturer to join our team on a full-time, temporary basis. This role is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a strong background in biology and science education to contribute to the academic development of our students.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and informative lectures in Biology and Science up to Level 3.
* Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials.
* Assess and evaluate student progress.
* Provide academic support and guidance to students.
* Participate in departmental meetings and professional development activities.
Requirements:
* A relevant degree in Biology, Science, or a related field.
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
* Experience teaching Biology and Science up to Level 3.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
