Cardiovascular Research Manager
About the role
Reporting directly to the Head of Department and Head of Cardiovascular Research, you will be responsible for the successful conduct of the research portfolio and management of the members of the research group. You will be responsible for ensuring that the staff and equipment necessary to run the research programmes are in place, and will manage the budget for the programme.
About youThe role of Research Manager is pivotal to the success of the research projects and as such we are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated individual with substantial experience of coordinating clinical trials or studies and administrating clinical research projects at a senior level.
The successful candidate will hold a degree level qualification and be able to evidence continuing professional development, such as taking part in formal postgraduate courses. You will need to be confident in managing staff, systems and processes, ideally with a project management qualification.
You will demonstrate exceptional analytical, communication and interpersonal skills, along with a proven ability to stay organised and enthusiastic when working under pressure.
