Are you a skilled Joiner or Carpenter ready to pass your acquired knowledge from the industry forward? Or perhaps a qualified Carpentry and Joinery teacher looking for a change of environment with more benefits? If so, this role is for you!
Key Responsibilities:
You would carry out formal scheduled teaching.See that students are working towards their assessments and are on track with their qualifications.Act as a personal tutor to a group of students.Develop and prepare learning and assessment materials, current to industry.Provide advice, guidance and feedback relating to the training and assessment processRequirements:
Hold a minimum of level 3 in Carpentry/Joinery (e.g. NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds Advanced Craft (or equivalent) and recognised Carpentry/Joinery qualifications)Experience teaching, asserting or working with students/apprentices.Ideally, hold a teaching qualification (e.g. Level 3 Award in Education & Training or PTLLS or be willing to work towards within 12 months.)You will need a Minimum Grade C/4 in GCSE Maths and English.You will need to already have OR be willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check before starting workWhat’s in it for you?
