Job Description: Computer Science Lecturer

Location:  East Midlands, Nottinghamshire

Job Type:  Permanent, Full-Time (Starting in September)

Salary:  £29,000 – £38,411 Per annum (unqualified salary will be £27,245 per annum)

  • Job Duties:

  • Deliver high-quality lectures and tutorials in computer science at BTEC Level 1, 2 and 3, A level and Access to HE and T-Level
  • Develop and update curriculum materials
  • Provide academic support and guidance to students
  • Assess student performance through assignments, exams, and projects
  • Conduct research and stay current with industry trends
  • Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Teaching qualification or relevant experience in academia
  • Education, Experience, Knowledge, and Skills:

  • Demonstrated expertise in computer science concepts and technologies
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Experience in curriculum development and assessment
  • Ability to work effectively with students and colleagues
