Course Manager/ Lecturer Engineering – 0.8 FTE (662.4 total teaching hours)
Rate of Pay or Salary: £23,506 - £38,769 per annum pro rata, depending on qualifications.
Working Time: 828 hours per annum of teaching and equivalent professional duties over 198 days, for full time posts and pro rata for part time posts. You will be expected to be on site for 34 hours per week pro rata during the whole academic year.
Contract Type: Permanent
Pension: Teachers’ Pensions Scheme
Leave entitlement: 38 days per year plus bank holidays (pro-rated for part time) plus additional discretionary days at Christmas.

You will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, welding, and practical applications.
This role is an ideal opportunity for a qualified Engineering lecturer or for someone keen to share their extensive industry experience. You will possess the necessary industry skills and experience and have a passion to develop the skills and knowledge of our students studying on full time and apprenticeship programmes.
If you have the technical expertise and experience in teaching and learning but don’t yet hold a teaching qualification, we will support you with this.
