Salary: £27,750 - £35,033 plus market rate allowance. (Teaching qualification determines salary)
Job Description:
Peterborough and Stamford College is seeking a dynamic and experienced Engineering Lecturer to join the team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to our students in the field of engineering. This is a full-time position with an immediate start.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in engineering subjects to a diverse range of learners.
- Assess and provide constructive feedback to students to support their progress and achievement.
- Contribute to the development of the engineering curriculum and teaching materials.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and assessment results.
- Provide academic and pastoral support to students as needed.
- Stay updated with industry trends and developments to enhance teaching delivery.
Requirements:
- Experience in the engineering sector is essential.
- A Level 3 qualification in the relevant subject area.
- Teaching qualification is desirable but not essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
Salary:
£27,750 - £35,033 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
