About the Role:


We are seeking a highly motivated, commercially minded, naturally inquisitive Researcher to join the Executive Search team at 3Search. This role is perfect for either a 360 Contingent Recruiter working at the mid-senior end of their market wanting to level up into Executive Search, or someone currently in an Executive Search/Retained business in a delivery capacity. If you are someone who enjoys providing a fantastic experience for both clients and candidates; thrives on identifying tough to find, top-tier talent and is eager to work with a team who had a 100% fill rate on all mandates across 2024, with an award winning culture, this is the role for you.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Talent Identification: Identify and assess top executive-level candidates through various channels including headhunting (cold calls) LinkedIn sourcing and InMailing, networking, and CRM (JobAdder) searches.
  • Client Interaction: Attend pitches and briefing calls. Be visible and confident to engage with clients, understand their needs, and participate in meetings and pitches to ensure a strong understanding of the recruitment process.
  • Research and Insight: Carry out in-depth research, understand and be genuinely interested in industry trends and provide insights to both clients and candidates.
  • Process Management: Run end-to-end recruitment processes, from initial candidate identification to presenting shortlisted candidates.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with both clients and candidates, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and engagement.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with Partners to support them in closing high-level search mandates and to share insights which help drive business development.


Skills and Experience Required:


  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in high-end contingent recruitment or executive search.
  • Ability to Identify Talent: Proven ability to identify and attract high-calibre candidates who align with client requirements.
  • Independence & Initiative: A self-starter who can think independently, proactively drive tasks and take ownership of the recruitment process.
  • Commercially Minded: A strong commercial mindset, understanding how recruitment contributes to business goals and client success.
  • Maturity & Good Attitude: Must demonstrate maturity in handling sensitive conversations, show empathy, and be approachable and professional.
  • Curiosity & Inquisitiveness: A curious mindset and desire to learn, understand industries, and uncover insights about candidates and clients.
  • Client-Focused: Demonstrated ability to care for the client’s needs and build lasting relationships.
  • Sales & Marketing Understanding (nice to have): An understanding of GTM (go-to-market) principles and how they relate to recruitment and talent acquisition.


Education & Qualifications:


  • Social Intellect: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively across various levels of seniority.
  • Written Communication: Excellent written communication skills, capable of crafting clear and concise reports, emails, and other written materials.
