Associate Professor in Digital Agriculture
£57,975 - £67,179 per annum
Full time, permanent position of 37 hours per week
About the Role
The successful candidate will be expected to provide teaching and research in aspects of smart agriculture, to enhance both the experience of teaching as well as increasing the quality of research income, output and impact. They will work closely with colleagues within the school and across the university, exploring new research opportunities and partnerships, fostering inter-disciplinary teamwork, and providing leadership to drive excellence within the broad Sustainable Agriculture” research theme.
Candidates should have a proven excellence in their own field of research and a demonstratable history of undertaking outstanding research to deliver successful outcomes. They should be qualified to doctoral level and ideally have experience of working in a leadership role.
