Foodfacts.org, the trusted platform run by the Freedom Food Alliance (FFA), is seeking a dedicated Volunteer Fact-Checker to join our mission-driven team. This is your chance to contribute to a healthier, more informed world while gaining valuable experience in the fast-evolving fields of nutrition and food systems.
- Write 2–4 fact-checks per month to address misinformation about food, diets, and sustainability.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of experts, advocates, and communicators.
- Research and analyze complex topics to produce fact-checks that are objective, evidence-based, and free of bias.
- Support Foodfacts.org’s mission of promoting planet-friendly, people-focused food systems.
- Contribute to public education by ensuring accurate, accessible information reaches diverse audiences.
- A BSc, MSc, or PhD qualification in Nutrition and Dietetics, Environmentalism, Ecosystems, or Ethics (or a closely related field).
