We are looking for a Hairdressing trainer/assessor.
You will be responsible for a caseload of learners delivering from our academy in Manchester's city centre 5 days a week
Job Summary
Deliver, Train and Assess forward thinking and inspirational programs to a caseload of aspiring Hairdressing learners
Responsibilities and Duties
Responsible for planning and delivering inspirational programmes of learning, enabling learners to develop their knowledge and practical skills so that they can demonstrate their competence within the standard/framework..
To deliver underpinning knowledge require as part of learning programmes
To carry out regular learner reviews to maintain ESFA compliance and to ensure that learners complete their learning programme on or before the planned funding end date.
To regularly review and update as required data to ensure it is timely and accurate.
To report/support all withdrawals to Management as soon as possible to ensure support can be put in place.
To carry out any administrative work associated with the learning programmes, such as completing learner documentation that is required as part of funding compliance.
To ensure that monthly targets are achieved.
Maintain regular contact with learners and employers on all programs
To provide support to learners in group settings..
To perform such other duties as reasonably correspond to the general character of the post and are commensurate with its level of responsibility.

To undertake such other duties that may be reasonably required by the Managing Director and Management
Hairdressing Level 2 & 3
A relevant assessing qualification (A1, D32/D33, TAQA)
A teaching qualification (PTLLS, CTLLS, DTLLS, PGCE, CertEd)
English and maths to a level 2 or a willingness to work towards
