PAY/GRADE: £24.17 - £30.53 per hour (including statutory holiday pay) depending on qualifications and experience
HOURS Part Time, Temporary (12 or 18 hours per week) term time only

JOB PURPOSE
Peterborough College is seeking a passionate and experienced Health and Social Care / Early Years Lecturer to join our team on a part-time, temporary basis. This role offers an exciting opportunity to teach and inspire students across a range of Health and Social Care or Early Years programmes, helping them develop the knowledge and skills needed for a successful career in these sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and innovative lessons in Health and Social Care / Early Years across a range of levels.
- Support students' learning through effective teaching strategies and resources.
- Assess, monitor, and provide feedback on students' progress to ensure they meet course objectives.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of the curriculum, ensuring that it meets the needs of learners and industry requirements.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance student retention, achievement, and progression.
- Maintain an up-to-date understanding of current trends and practices within the Health and Social Care / Early Years sectors.
Key Requirements:
- A relevant qualification in Health and Social Care, Early Years, or a related subject.
- A recognised teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one).
- Previous experience teaching in Further Education or a similar educational setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- A commitment to providing an excellent learning experience for students.
- The ability to inspire and motivate learners to achieve their potential.
