PAY/GRADE: £24.17 - £30.53 per hour (including statutory holiday pay) depending on qualifications and experience

HOURS Part Time, Temporary (12 or 18 hours per week) term time only

QRS are currently recruiting on behalf of Inspire Education Group for a Health and Social Care / Early Years Lecturer

JOB PURPOSE

Peterborough College is seeking a passionate and experienced Health and Social Care / Early Years Lecturer to join our team on a part-time, temporary basis. This role offers an exciting opportunity to teach and inspire students across a range of Health and Social Care or Early Years programmes, helping them develop the knowledge and skills needed for a successful career in these sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and innovative lessons in Health and Social Care / Early Years across a range of levels.
  • Support students' learning through effective teaching strategies and resources.
  • Assess, monitor, and provide feedback on students' progress to ensure they meet course objectives.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of the curriculum, ensuring that it meets the needs of learners and industry requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance student retention, achievement, and progression.
  • Maintain an up-to-date understanding of current trends and practices within the Health and Social Care / Early Years sectors.

Key Requirements:

  • A relevant qualification in Health and Social Care, Early Years, or a related subject.
  • A recognised teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one).
  • Previous experience teaching in Further Education or a similar educational setting is preferred.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • A commitment to providing an excellent learning experience for students.
  • The ability to inspire and motivate learners to achieve their potential.
