Lecturer A – Floristry
Experience: of teaching, learning and assessment in the Arts educational sector to a high standard
To provide high quality teaching and pastoral support for students on our various floristry courses.
You will teach on a range of community and adult courses from beginners, level 1 to level 2 and grow the department offer by developing a L3 floristry course and a L2 floristry apprenticeship route. You will be an individual committed to excellence in the classroom, possessing a degree (or equivalent) in floristry and a recognised teaching qualification (Cert Ed/PGCE).
You will have experience of teaching and assessing on floristry courses at levels 1, 2 & 3 and current or recent industrial experience.
You will have the skills necessary to grow the floristry courses within the visual arts curriculum area, through active recruitment for the various courses and by raising standards in teaching and learning.
