Lecturer – Business & Economics

Lewes – 28.5 Hours, Full Year

Salary Up to £39,808 FTE

Due to the continuing growth of our A Level department, an enthusiastic, well-qualified and experienced professional is required to join our team from the start of the 24/25 academic year.

The postholder will be required to deliver A Levels in Business and Economics, as well as our tutorial programme. Excellent communication and organisational skills should be matched by a proven track record of high-quality teaching and successful student outcomes.

If you have not yet started your teaching career, we would welcome applications from recent graduates of Business and/or Economics. You would benefit from working alongside an experienced team who would guide and mentor you and we would also provide a free PGCE.

Successful candidates will have a clear understanding of the importance of raising the standard of teaching by using a range of strategies to raise achievement. An understanding of the importance of monitoring student progress and the effective use of student data systems to intervene and raise standards are also essential for this post.

Candidates should have a relevant degree and we also welcome applications from NQTs.
