Hours/Weeks: 22.2 hours/52 Weeks (0.6 FTE)

Contract Type: Permanent – Part Time

About Role:

We are seeking a Lecturer who is a committed individual and has the vision and skill to make a substantial contribution to developing the curriculum of Hair and Barbering.

The ideal candidate should have;

  • An Assessor’s qualification and must have professional qualifications at level 3 in Hairdressing and Barbering.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills are another pre-requisite, as is the ability to be an effective team member.
  • A UK recognised teaching qualification, such as a PGCE, DTLLS, Cert Ed, or similar equivalent’
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the current and future curriculum developments within own specialist area
  • Level 2 English and Maths (e.g. GCSE A*-C,4-9) or equivalent
