Lecturer. Health and Social Care. Part Time. 22.2 Hours Per Week. Permanent.

 

We have an opportunity within our Health and Social Care team for a Lecturer to teach all aspects of Health and Social Care.  

As a Lecturer, you will deliver effective teaching, learning and assessment within an established and committed team. You will have the skills to motivate students to realise their ambitions and reach their full potential. You will be enthusiastic and have a passion for your profession and be able to guide students to succeed.  

Applicants are therefore invited to apply who hold the following:  

  • A full teaching qualification at Level 5 or above or be willing to work towards obtaining one. If you do not hold a suitable teaching qualification, the College will support you to obtain this as part of our investment in your professional development.  
  • A Degree Level qualification in a related subject and have a track record of delivering high quality teaching/training and be competent at assessing students’ work.   
  • Level 2 or equivalent qualification in maths and English.  

Applications from candidates with a background in teaching in an FE (Further Education) environment would also be advantageous but not essential.
