Lecturer - Health and Social Care

Care, Health and Sport Faculty

Start Date: ASAP

Hours: 35 hours per week

Contract: Permanent

Salary: £40, - £48, per annum pro rata

West Lothian College are looking to appoint an outstanding Health and Social Care Lecturer who will demonstrate the necessary commitment and enthusiasm to contribute to their team. Working within the friendly and knowledgeable team within the Care, Health and Sport Faculty, you will be committed to the delivery of high quality teaching and a varied learning experience, focussed on progression and employability.

Applications are invited for the position of Lecturer to contribute to the delivery and assessment of a range of courses from SCQF Level 4 to Level 8. You will develop course materials for online and face to face learning, work flexibly and collaborate effectively with other members of the College.

Applicants should be educated to a minimum SCQF Level 9 in a relevant subject and have relevant practice experience from the health and social care sector. A teaching qualification and lecturing experience within the health and social care sector is also desirable.

Candidates that have been selected for interview will be required to deliver a 10 minute presentation and undertake a competency and values based interview.

Closing date for applications is hrs on 23rd October .

Interviews will take place onsite at West Lothian College on 4th November .
