The Department of Finance, Accounting and Risk, based in the Glasgow School for Business and Society, is currently looking to recruit a Chartered Accountant to teach the syllabus for the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) Fundamental and Professional level papers on our ACCA suite of programmes, primarily covering our ACCA night-time classes. The main purpose of the role is to contribute to the delivery of teaching and the learning experience here at GCU Glasgow. This is a key area of strength for the University, with a flagship undergraduate programme, the BA (Hons) Accountancy, and postgraduate offerings in the areas of Accounting, Finance and Regulation and the MAcc Accountancy Graduate Apprenticeship programme.

We are keen to receive applications from people who will enhance our delivery of and reputation in Accounting. Applicants should hold relevant qualifications in the subject area and prior experience of supporting student learning, teaching and assessment in higher education and/or in industry settings is essential. Relevant industry experience would be looked upon favourably and the post could suit an individual with an industry background able to demonstrate the potential for high quality teaching.
