Hours of work: 7 hours per week

Salary: £5,735 - £7,475 plus possible 10% market forces payment

Total salary could be with a market forces payment £6,308 to £8,222 per annum.

A Market forces payment could be accessible for a fully qualified, suitably experienced, exceptional candidate.

Location : Castleford College

We have an exciting opportunity for a lecturer in surveying, planning and design to join our Construction team. This opportunity will allow you to pass on your technical experience, ideas, knowledge and skills to young people in order to help support them in improving their own skills and attributes.

With support from curriculum managers, you will plan activities that will help these groups of students progress whilst at college.

You should hold GCSE A*- C / 9 – 4 or Level 2 equivalent in English and maths, be qualified to a minimum of level 4 in Construction, hold a Full Driving Licence and own transport/or access to transport have current practical experience within the vocational area.

You should have excellent communication and organisational skills. We are looking for a person who is supportive, engaging and can motivate and inspire young people to succeed and achieve their full potential.
