We have an exciting opportunity for an engaging, innovative and dynamic Lecturer to teach across our level 2 and 3 BTEC / T level and Apprenticeship Engineering provision.

You will teach and assess across a range of Engineering subjects that include CAD (SolidWorks), Mechanical & Electrical Science. The successful candidate will hold appropriate level of maths knowledge to teach to level 3, and will be able to deliver, or willing to learn, engineering core subjects including Health & Safety and basic manufacturing processes (e.g., forging, casting and moulding).

The successful candidate will deliver inspiring teaching and learning to ensure all students are supported to succeed through the delivery of high quality and challenging learning experiences. Progress will be monitored to ensure target grades are met and all learners achieve to the best of their ability. 

A relevant degree or professional qualification is essential. Experience in an appropriate vocational industry setting or background is preferred, or a willingness to complete CPD with industry partners. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in teaching engineering or a related science. You will possess excellent planning and administration skills and be able to work to deadlines. A knowledge of a range of teaching methodologies is essential.
