This role involves developing teaching materials and delivering one or more HND units. Applicants should demonstrate their ability to use their experience, knowledge, and skills to engage, inspire, and guide students towards high academic achievement in Hospitality Management or Business (Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management).
The successful candidate will have experience teaching HND or relevant university-level courses. They will support students in progressing to the final year of an undergraduate degree (Level 6 Top-up), securing gainful employment, or running their own business. A Master’s degree in a relevant subject is required, alongside a teaching qualification or a commitment to work towards obtaining one. Industry experience is desirable.
Applicants must have recent experience teaching, with the ability to effectively deliver both theoretical and practical lessons. They should have been graded as good or outstanding in recent lesson observations and possess experience in meeting the needs of learners and the expectations of a higher education team, including the requirements of awarding bodies and partners. Strong organisational skills are essential.
