Job Title: Lecturer in Inclusive Practice

Job Type: Permanent, Full time- 35 hours a week

Location: Aylesbury

Salary: £30,000- £34,500

The Role:

As an Inclusive Practice Lecturer, your role will center on creating an educational environment where all students can thrive, regardless of their background, abilities, or needs. You will design and deliver inclusive curricula that cater to diverse learners, including those with disabilities, special educational needs (SEN), or English as a second language (ESOL). Your work will promote equality and diversity by ensuring teaching practices are respectful, representative, and welcoming to all cultures, genders, and abilities.

Key aspects of the role include:

  • Assessing and addressing learners' specific requirements through differentiated instruction or tailored learning plans.
  • Plan and prepare innovative schemes of work, lesson plans and assessment schedules which motivate students to achieve.
  • Plan and deliver effective learning programmes for diverse groups or individuals in a safe and inclusive environment, whilst also ensuring students are stretched and challenged to reach their full potential.
  • Continuously reviewing teaching methods and learning outcomes to ensure inclusivity and maintain high levels of student engagement.

About you:

  • Relevent teaching qualification
  • Experience working in an educational setting (either in a college or school)
  • Relevent experience support learners with additional needs
  • Maths and English qualification
