Responsibilities
as our Lecturer Marine Electrical will include:
Teaching on courses as agreed with the Learning Manager across the Marine department using a variety of mediums to reflect the needs of the department and your area of expertise. Contributing to the design, delivery and future planning and development of the curriculum Paying due attention to the principles of inclusive learning including: - individual learning styles.
- support for students with learning difficulties and disabilities.
- extension resources/activities for students of higher ability.
- general resources, including the use of Information Learning Technology.
Organising and participating in relevant visits, enrichment visits, ship visits, and liaise with external organisations to enhance the learner experience. Creating an outstanding student experience which leads to progression or employment Preparing and marking student work, monitor progress towards individual targets, keep records and provide timely reports/reviews to students, parents, employers, and College managers, as appropriate As our Lecturer Marine Electrical, youll ideally have:
Level 3 Qualification in Marine Electrical or Royal Navy / Merchant Navy Equivalent Teaching Qualification or willingness to achieve 3 years experience in Marine Electrical Engineering Experience facilitating learning for students in either an educational or workplace setting Knowledge of current evidence-based practice in field of expertise Advanced mathematics Experience as an ETO Benefits you will receive:
