Location : Trafford, Manchester
Salary: £37,000 - £47,000 per annum

The Role
As a Lecturer in Media at the University, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of media education. You will deliver engaging and inspiring content, foster a creative learning environment, and equip their students with the practical skills and critical thinking needed to excel in the fast-paced media landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
Teaching & Learning : Deliver high-quality, student-centred teaching across a range of media subjects, including digital media, journalism, film, and broadcasting.
Curriculum Development : Innovate and develop curriculum materials that reflect the latest industry trends and technological advancements.
Student Engagement: Mentor and support students in their academic and personal development, fostering a culture of excellence and ambition.
Industry Collaboration: Build and maintain strong links with industry partners to ensure their programs remain cutting-edge and relevant.
What Theyre Looking For:
Qualifications: A master's degree in media or a related field.
Experience: Proven experience in teaching at higher education level, with a strong background in journalism, marketing and PR or related areas.
Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students. Proficiency using the Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, In Design and Premiere Pro) is preferable.
Innovation: A forward-thinking approach to education, with a passion for integrating technology and new teaching methodologies.
Industry Insight: Strong connections with the media industry and a commitment to keeping abreast of the latest trends and developments.
