As an HCPC-registered Physiotherapist, youll have the ability to inspire, enthuse and connect with stakeholders from a wide range of backgrounds.

Youll be involved in supporting the teaching delivery across our physiotherapy and interprofessional courses and there may be opportunities to contribute to the wider health portfolio as appropriate.

Main duties of the job

Whilst higher education teaching experienceis not essential,you must have experience of formal teaching, training and supervising students, and be able to contribute to our undergraduate and postgraduate courses, including our distance learning provision and apprenticeships.

You will have well-developed and current knowledge and understanding of critical, practical and theoretical issues relevant to contemporary physiotherapy, and it would be great if youre currently at the forefront of new ways of working within the NHS in either primary or secondary settings, demonstrating care innovation and emerging management pathways.

Ideally, youll have recent practice experience in either a neurological or cardiovascular respiratory role.

The balance of these will vary between post holders.Student experience Designs and delivers innovative, high quality and challenging learning experiences. Equips students with the skills, knowledge and attributes required by employers through delivery of the curriculum. Contributes to the development of a sense of student community and acts as key contact for students. Assists with the operational delivery of courses / modules and acts proactively to address any emerging issues, escalating as appropriate.
