At our ARU Writtle campus, we specialise in animal, environmental, agricultural and horticultural courses, for learners aged 16 to 18, adult learners, undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

The Faculty of Science & Engineering e offers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses including doctoral level studies. Were a small and specialist School with a vision that prioritise applied research with excellence in learning and teaching. You will ensure high standards of teaching, whilst adhering to quality assurance standards, and provide an excellent student experience.

About the Role:

The Faculty of Science & Engineering offers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses including doctoral level studies. Our new Writtle School of Agriculture, Animal and Environmental Sciences was established in , and offers undergraduate provision in Animal Science and Management. We also offer a wide range of post-graduate courses, short courses and conferences. Our dynamic approach ensures that our students receive a high quality, research informed educational experience. 

Full or Part time, up to 37 hours per week. We are looking for a new lecturer/senior lecturer for the Animal Health portfolio. The post holder will teach on the Undergraduate and Postgraduate Animal Science and Management courses primarily as well as feeding into other courses as appropriate. You will also be expected to contribute to the supervision of research students.

With a PhD or professional doctorate (completed or nearing completion within 18 months) in a related discipline. You will be committed to research and prepared to work as part of multi-disciplinary teams, as well as developing your personal research activities. You will possess excellent communications skills and will demonstrate a flexible approach to work.
