The Royal Veterinary College invites applications for a tenured academic position in Veterinary Clinical Pathology. The clinical pathology faculty operates a busy diagnostic service providing interpretation of clinical pathology samples from a wide variety of animals, large and small (domestic, farm and exotic), and has an international reputation in training of clinical pathology residents. 

You will be expected to provide specialist advice for RVC clinicians, referring veterinarians and other clients as and when required. This post has a 70:30 split in duties between diagnostic service and academic activities (undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and collaborative research). 

With a degree in veterinary medicine recognised by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS), you will have experience and expertise in veterinary clinical pathology in line with board recognition by the ACVP, ECVCP or FRCPath. The ability to work efficiently and to deadlines within a busy and close-knit team is essential. The lecturership/senior lecturership will be appointed within academic pay scales, commensurate with qualifications and experience. The remuneration will also include London Allowance, Clinical Academic Allowance and Out-of-hours paymentsupplements.
