About the role

Our highly rated H&F Adult Learning and Skills Service provides over 400 courses to more than 6,500 students locally and London wide. The courses offered are both nationally accredited qualifications and non-accredited courses.

ALSS is looking to recruit a dynamic full time Vocational Skills Lecturer to join our Employability and Skills team.

This is a key role in supporting the Employability and Skills curriculum area. The post holder will teach an agreed programme of study in a designated vocational curriculum that utilises a variety of approaches that maximises learners’ achievement and success. The courses will be delivered within our main centres (Macbeth Centre and Uxbridge Road), as well as offsite and partner venues, as part of our community engagement programme offer. 

The Vocational Skills Lecturer post is a key appointment to ensure residents have access to a range of vocational programmes, to improve their skills to have better access to employment opportunities and social integration.

Role Specific Qualifications:

  • Teaching Qualification a minimum Level 3 and commitment to achieve a level 4 qualification.
  • Evidence of Continuous Professional Development (CPD) and commitment to updating of skills and knowledge.
