Manufacturing Lecturer

CEMAST is looking to recruit an outstanding Manufacturing Lecturer who is enthusiastic, innovative and highly motivated. The individual should be capable of supporting delivery of engineering and manufacturing qualifications across the curriculum range up to Level 4. 

You will be expected to be able to teach theoretical and practical sessions defined by the course specification with a knowledge in CAD and CAM as well as experience working in workshops on machines and supporting essential hand skills.  The individual should be confident in using CNC’s, milling equipment and lathes. A knowledge in working with HURCO would also be advantageous. The successful candidate will be passionate and be able to demonstrate relevant experience in the engineering industry whilst having the ambition of passing on their knowledge and experience to the future generation of engineers. 

You will be a well organised and flexible individual, able to effectively manage your own time and resources, with excellent communication skills and the ability to covey industry standard information and ideas in a clear, concise and engaging manner. 

You will need to hold a Level 4 Engineering qualification. Experience in teaching and learning would be advantageous, the role can be an entry into teaching meaning no previous experience of teaching necessary.
