Our in-house award-winning creative agency is looking for a Picture Researcher / Photographer with excellent picture research skills and project management skills to be responsible for sourcing images across a wide range of projects.


You will collaborate with a global team of designers to bring our brand to life in a variety of formats, including digital advertising, social media content, video, email and website platforms. We are looking for someone to come up with fresh and inspirational ideas, as we often also develop campaign strategy along with design concepts.


You have a strong work ethic and thrive in a fast-paced, sometimes high-pressure environment. You are energetic, enjoy problem-solving, and are curious and knowledgeable. In addition to being visually literate you are personable, hard-working, confident and articulate. You enjoy working as part of team as much as on your own initiative and take pride in your attention to detail.


Picture research is the main responsibility of the role, though the ideal candidate would also have experience in photography and shoot production and would be open to using their skills for occasional headshot and event photography.



The role:


  • Research high quality visuals that embody and amplify the Oliver Wyman brand for a diverse range of projects, including reports, social media and marketing campaigns.
  • Ensure all project deadlines are met.
  • Agree the final picture selection with authors, creative directors and project leads.
  • Liaise with art directors to monitor picture quality.
  • Provide feedback on team members’ image selections.
  • Compile stock image libraries for the Oliver Wyman brand portal.
  • Assist with sourcing external photographers.
  • Retouch and format and archive staff profile photos to Oliver Wyman guidelines.
  • Retouch digital imagery for use across Oliver Wyman content and platforms.
  • Benchmark against competitors and other brands with similar brand ethos and design.



Requirements and skills:


  • Work experience as picture researcher. Experience in studio/event photography a plus.
  • Creative mind with an eye for detail and storytelling skills to bring concepts to live.
  • Knowledge of international picture sources
  • Sound understanding of picture copyright.
  • Excellent Time-management skills, Ability to be proactive, multi-task and prioritize effectively.
  • Flexibility to perform in a fast-paced global environment and meet urgent deadlines.
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Advanced knowledge of industry standard photo editing tools including Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Ability to caption and catalogue archive content in in-house DAM system.
  • Knowledge of image licensing, permissions, and potential legal implication
  • Interest and skilled in Generative AI image platforms a plus
