About. The Almanac project is an online interactive resource designed as a "Mental Health Decision Tree" to assist individuals in navigating their mental health journey. It provides comprehensive support from the moment they identify a need, through mapping, planning, and budgeting, to the initiation of appropriate therapies.


As a Product Development Researcher, you will work closely with our experienced team to support the development and enhancement of one of our solutions - The Decision Tree. This role is ideal for graduate students or researchers in psychology, psychiatry, and neuroscience who are passionate about reviewing systematic reviews, meta-analyses, and longitudinal studies on symptoms, conditions, therapeutic modalities and their historical development, and eager to apply their academic knowledge in a practical setting. We are also open to considering exceptional undergraduate students. We are seeking individuals who are proficient in navigating scientific databases such as PubMed, PsycINFO, etc. capable of critically appraising and synthesising information from peer-reviewed journals, and already have access to these resources. This role is an excellent complement to your primary studies or activities, offering an opportunity to enhance your CV while earning additional income. What You’ll Be Doing

  • Collect, lead, and structure information about therapeutic interventions and their historical evolution in psychology, psychiatry, and neuroscience.
  • Conduct comprehensive literature reviews and systematic analyses of symptoms and conditions in psychology, psychiatry, and neuroscience from reputable scientific sources.
  • Contribute innovative ideas to improve existing product frameworks and develop new ones based on research findings.


Qualifications

  • A current graduate student or recent graduate in psychology, psychiatry and/or neuroscience. We will consider exceptional undergraduate students as well.
  • Proven ability to access and interpret scientific research from peer-reviewed journals and databases.
  • Proficiency in reading, understanding, and synthesising information from scientific writing.
  • Familiarity with navigating scientific databases and research platforms.
